LAND logoThe LAND project was set in 2005 up to get people talking to each other in order to make their community a better place.  There are lots of agencies and groups working in the Barnsley area and we want to make sure that communication between them is effective, and that local people are involved in the decision-making process. We can help to support local groups to improve the communication links between agencies, the community and the Partnership, and to agree local priorities and actions. 

We aim to promote community involvement and to provide practical support and encouragement; we are available to offer advice on forming groups, applying for funding and volunteering opportunities to name just a few.
